US stocks end sharply lower
By FXStreet FXStreet (Córdoba) – US stocks ended sharply lower on Friday, amid a combination of falling oil prices, worries about China and disappointing US data.
Stocks managed to bounce from session lows during the last hour of trading but remained sharply down.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 392 points, or 2.39%, to 15,987. The S&P 500 index lost 45 points, or 2.16%, to 1,876. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 127 points, or 2.74%, to 4,488.
