Fed speakers bullish on economy: expect positive GDP Q1 revisions

By FXStreet Fed’s Lockhart and Williams, non voters and neutral, are discussing the U.S. economy at the Politico event.

Comments so far:

Lockhart said he expects Q1 GDP to be revised up slightly, it was a weak quarter. Market expectations are more pessimistic than his own forecasts and the Fed could take action in June, while all meetings are live.

Williams stated that the june meeting is live in his view.
