Germany: July IP numbers mark a good start of 3Q, 2015 – Deutsche Bank
|By FXStreet FXStreet (Delhi): Research Team at Deutsche Bank, note that the recent release of German industrial production numbers was in line with the market expectations which marks a very good start of the third quarter of 2015.
Key Quotes
“German industrial production rose +0.7% mom in July and the June data was revised upward by half a percentage point (-0.9% vs. -1.4% initially). This is broadly in line with market expectations (+1.0%) and our own expectations (DB: +1.5%).”
“These production numbers are a good start to the third quarter of 2015 and support our Q3 GDP forecast (+0.4% qoq). The yoy-growth rate decelerated somehow (0.4% vs. 1% in June) due to a base effect. But for the same reason the August reading (yoy) should have some upside potential.”
