UK Construction PMI slipped to its weakest pace in about three years – TDS

By FXStreet Research Team at TDS, notes that the UK Construction PMI fell to 52.0 in April, and like yesterday’s manufacturing PMI, reflects its weakest pace in about three years.

“New business was reported at stagnating, in part owing to heightened uncertainty about the economy in relation to the June referendum, providing early evidence that uncertainty is weighing on sectors that aren’t as internationally exposed as manufacturing. Commercial building was the healthiest sector in April, while residential construction rose only slightly from March’s multi-year low.”
