US stocks close higher for first time this week

By FXStreet FXStreet (Córdoba) – US stocks closed higher on Thursday for first time this week, snapping a three-day losing streak despite the continued fall in oil prices.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 82.45 points, or 0.47%, to 17,574. The S&P 500 climbed 4.61 points, or 0.23%, to 2,052. The Nasdaq Composite gained 22.31 points, or 0.44%, to 5,045.
